Summer Gala Event

The joint British Computer Society CONSIG and Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) summer gala event took place last evening on the River Thames. The Institute of Business Consulting are the professional body for management consultants and business advisers. It was a good evening of fun and relaxation for everyone involved.

     

Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park was Britain’s top secret WW2 code breaking centre, containing Colossus - the world’s first electronic computer, and also now home to the National Museum of Computing. It was made famous by its secret wartime efforts to crack the German Enigma machine and where Alan Turing, a pioneer of computing, also worked.
